I have been a vegetarian since 18 years old, vegan for last 10 years.
I love cooking, movies, British tv drama, music, reading books, photography, gardening, skateboarding, hang out with friends, make beanies, sewing, bicycling, and play with cats.

I moved to MI last year. I'm working at the small farm from this summer. It's tough job but I having so much fun to taking care of plants and trees, harvest veggies, fruits, and flowers and go to the forest to wild mushroom hunting!

I am looking for that person whose energy compliments mine - I think most of us are looking for that connection.
However I find myself in a tiny demographic of people, which furthers the difficulty in finding someone great, thus my reason for being out here.
I'm a strong willed reformist and my mindset is progressive; in politics, art, sex and dietary behaviour. Things I try to avoid: Health damaging neuro-toxics (alcohol, nicotine, drugs, coffee, cola), and harming other creatures.
I've been working in the arts; music, design and national media. I write a lot of music (I have an opera/classical/electronica band). I've only been to about 22 countries (Europe,Far East, Eastern Europe) but want to travel more. I speak Japanese - I'm not restrictive to nation or culture. I have a quite mixed background. 100% italian origins but was born and bred in Venezuela till I was 23 years old, so that definately added some caribbean personality on my mediterranean upbringing. Living in England for 7 years has given me lots of learning and actually it's so vegan friendly that I would happily call it HOME. Spent a few years in Paris and Barcelona but now I'm back in the UK. I speak spanish, italian, english and french. I do like numbers and science in general as it hides truths about the "cosmos", but also enjoy the arts, independent cinema, handcraft and different kind of music, specially non commercial and experimental. I'm very open to other people's point of views as long as mine are not jeopardised in the process... Love nature, outdoors, travelling, beaches, tolerance, photography, having a laugh even in difficult moments.. bright colours and compassion... and just in case you wonder my favourite colour is ORANGE...

I'm a nice guy with a good heart. People who meet me for the first time think that I'm a bit shy, but I open up the more I get to know someone. Good friends will say that I'm friendly and funny.
Those who know me the closest might also say that I'm too strict. This is because I don't sway from my path. When making a choice, I'm often logical, and some people might say that I'm "too logical". However, I think that it is good to make decisions with some thought behind them, instead of rushing into them.
I'm not opposed to going out to a party, but I'm more comfortable walking around the city (whichever city!) or going to a quiet place where I can have a good conversation. I love traveling and taking photos. I've been to 11 countries and plan to go to more. In 2009, I took 4 trips abroad! I also like designing classical-style architecture on Google SketchUp (a 3D program) at home in my free time.
I'm very loyal and whoever nabs me will not have to worry at all what I'm up to. I actually like to meet people as friends first and then see what happens, as opposed to getting into a relationship quickly. I like to take things more slowly than quickly, but I'd say that I'm a fine guy once I'm heated up!
I'm from America, but I studied abroad twice in university - in Japan and in Singapore. I'm actually currently teaching English in Japan, but I take many trips to Singapore when I get the chance, and I would like to live there for a while again. Eventually, I want to go back to America (with a girlfriend if I find one who is willing to!), although if I met the right person, I could go/stay where that person is.
