I have been a lactovegetarian for 24 years, I like watching a little TV, not too much, passionately listening to AND playing rock music (I play guitar). These days I listen to a lot of Indian spiritual, Celtic and Wiccan music. Otherwise jazz is also not far away.
I love music. I love art but am not one of those that actively go to exhibitions etc. I love nature, parks, mountains, I love the lush green, especially if it's a combination of lake/mountain/forest. Rivers count too, but lakes and ponds are more favored.
I have recently divorced after 16 years of marriage, have two sons (age 13 and 15)
I don't have that great many close friends, but good, sincere friendship means the world to me. I always go for quality rather than quantity. But people who share my opinions/lifestyle are so hard to find, and I'm very happy that I have stumbled across a veggie site in my search for them.
I'm all about love, and I don't mean just man and woman, but parents/children, neighbors, colleagues, and all living creatures. Some day I hope before it's too late I may find a good woman who will share some key interests, who will be, well, my soulmate or something. I believe in those things. I'm a believer in God and in the mystical/spiritual. And this is very mystical - that it's hard to find a decent partner who is also a vegetarian.

I am the type of person who is very emotional about issues like forest protection and animal rights. I admire people who fight whale killers and would join them gladly.
