I'm rather quiet and introverted, a generally shy person, so it can be difficult for me to branch out and meet new people. But I'd really like to meet more like-minded individuals, talk to people, make friends, form some meaningful bonds... That sort of deal. Once I get to know someone the whole shyness thing isn't so much an issue.
I'm pretty laid back in general and I like to think that I have a good sense of humor. I'm really not the super optimistic, bubbly in your face type, but I don't want to be a total killjoy, either. I have no problem with just taking it easy and I can be a bit of a homebody. But I do like to get out and travel, sightsee, and do things outdoors. I bicycle quite a bit and have gone for week long rides. And I enjoy nature hikes and I like to experience life and all that jazz. I'm just not always great with socializing, truth be told. I'm primarily a night person and can stay up til dawn. I love being around water and if I could I would live by the sea.
I love movies, my favorite being The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou, and I get into quite a few TV shows. I'm also a bit of a gamer. I've always been interested in art and I draw and write. I do illustrations, cartoons, and sequential art. I'd like to make a career out of it, but I'm still working to that level.
I'm an animal person for sure and have rescued several cats. I've volunteered with my local animal shelter and I would like to do more to help animals.

Mostly I'm interested in natural, simple, and healthy living. I practice yoga and meditate daily. I’m a vegetarian that seems to be working toward being a vegan.
