| Why I'm Vegan |
| I am vegan because I love animals and the environment. Also, I am very much concerned about climate change. I have been vegetarian for many years now and vegan for at least 16 years. The fact that veganism is very good for my health is also a fringe benefit. |

| I am very active as an animal rights, environmental and peace activist. Very progressive in my politics (except for a certain few issues). Political junky who has to have her (large) dose of C-SPAN every day. I presently have cats but intend to adopt at least two dogs some day when I have a larger back yard. (Two of my cats are named Pauly Wellstone and Sheila Wellstone after Paul and Sheila Wellstone. If you're into politics, you certainly know who they were.) Progressive politics, veganism, animals and the environment are what keep me going! I am very healthy but would like to start an exercise program again and really get back into shape. I am unfortunately a very sloppy housekeeper. That's why I would love to meet someone who is a lot neater than I am, someone who would help me to get organized. I am presently retired but may have to start looking for a part time job again in order to keep up with the bills. I think that my membership is presently expired, so don't be surprised if your messages to me do not get a reply. I will renew my membership as soon as I am financially able. | I'm Looking For |
| Looking for someone who is politically aware - someone who would know what I am talking about when I bring up certain politicians or candidates - preferably someone with a progressive, left-leaning outlook. Also, I would hope that he would be into history as well as animal rights, environmentalism and the peace movement. A great sense of humor would be wonderful. It goes without saying that he should be very intelligent; but then, most people who are vegan and into animal rights are usually more intelligent than your average person, anyway. I am hoping for a man who will be my best friend, my confidant and my lover. |
