| I took Environmental Ethics in college, and one class dedicated to environmental diets exposed me to all the ills of the meat industry: pollution, animal and worker cruelty, antibiotic abuse, personal health, disease outbreaks, water and resource consumption--you name it. I immediately went cold tofurkey and never looked back, fully confident in one of the easiest decisions of my life (even if execution wasn't initially so simple). |
