I'm Semi-Vegetarian. What I currently eat and why I'm interested in vegetarianism....
5% non vegetarian solely for family/social gatherings. 5% exceptions rule works for me. (1) A friend prepares lunch which includes salmon, about twice a month. Also, when traveling abroad, sampling of local cuisine at times includes local meat or fish, twice a year. (2) My current diet is pretty close to vegan, certainly avoiding meat and dairy. (3) I am considering becoming 100% vegan for my body, for animals and for Earth. 
More About Me
Born and raised in San Francisco. Left home for college and law school. Returned, and career was in the City's Public Defender office. Widowed six years ago. Two adult daughters, one residing with me. 
I'm Looking For
There are parks, museums and neighborhoods to see and visit in San Francisco. And innumerable spots for coffee/tea for conversation.
