| Why I'm Vegetarian |
| I stopped eating meat when I was 15 when I first learned about factory farming and the unethical treatment of animals. It was meant to be temporary and I went to my public library and got out every book I could find about factory farming. Of course, I learned that, what I had heard was true, and even worse than I had originally thought, and have been vegetarian since. |

| I am a registered nurse and currently work from home which is been an enormous quality of life improvement. I have two amazing daughters who live with me most of the time. It has been just the three of us for the past 10 years as my focus has been on raising them and my career. As they are becoming older and more independent I’m finding I have more free time. My girls are encouraging me to see what’s out there. I am from New York originally I went to college in DC. Moved to Atlanta about 25 years ago and I’ve been in Roswell for about 13 years. I love Roswell, and the area… but do not find a lot of like minded people. I certainly don’t need a carbon copy of myself… but it would be amazing to find someone that is vegetarian… or at least vegetarian friendly. I am cautiously optimistic about this next chapter. |
