| Why I'm Vegan |
| I became a vegan in 2017 as I wanted to ensure better health. At the same time I gave up white sugar and flour. I went "cold turkey" and never looked back. There are times when allow myself a "treat." Usually a yummy dessert especially if I am traveling. Half the fun of traveling is the food. However, I never eat red meat, chicken, turkey or pork. I do still eat fish but I stay away from dairy and eggs. |

| I believe love should feel calm, safe, and joyful. Life has taught me that the best relationships are built on being best friends, and also kindness, laughter, and showing up for each other in the little moments. I’m a happy homebody at heart, but I love getting out and enjoying life as well. Coffee houses are a favorite to me and I love visiting different ones to check them out, beach days listening to the ocean while reading a good book (this is my happy place), and road trips that lead somewhere beautiful (especially if my dogs can come along - I have two small dogs). Animals are a huge part of my life. I share my home with dogs and cats and am actively involved in animal rescue—it’s one of the most meaningful things I do. I’m a morning person who enjoys Pilates (not necessarily in the moring), a great cup of coffee, and a peaceful rhythm to life. I’ve recently started learning West Coast Swing dancing - let's just say, we will see how it goes. I love travel, but I’ll happily pass on camping or anything too risky. Give me comfort, beauty, and good company over adrenaline any day. I’m also a hockey fan—raised on the Chicago Blackhawks—and enjoy catching games once in a while. |
