| i live 150 steps from the sea and am amazed by the healing power of salt water, hence i spend as much time as possible in coastal environments, whether it be in a kayak, on a bicycle, hiking or body surfing...i'm a 40-minute paddle from a georgia sea island that is a time/energy vortex... i often think i would have been more at home a few centuries back when life was slower, simpler, saner...my spiritual beliefs align most closely with taoism, celtic culture, american indians and other aboriginal people...these are the folk i would have chosen to live and love with had i been presented with a choice...at the same time i realize my essence and energy transcends time, and i try to navigate the crazy world i've been dropped into.. i enjoy: feeling my body in motion, whether i'm climbing, hiking, biking, kayaking, dancing sitting still, quieting my mind letting the rhythms of the natural world and music infuse my body and soul connecting to the planet and cosmos, the visible and invisible, shamanic wisdom |
