| Why I'm Vegan |
| In a transitional moment in my life I realized that if I wanted to walk forward embracing kindness and compassion then I could not do that and also participate in the barbaric cruelty that we implicitly condone and accept by purchasing and consuming animal products. There was no going back after that awakening. Never will you hear me say, “I was vegan for a while”. |

| Real talk. I lost my partner of 9 years to a motorcycle accident last March. I’m not looking for or expecting the next great thing. If that happens down the road, cool. What I know is that I’d like to have more people in my life who share my values. I live with my two dogs and an incredibly elderly cat. I love swing dancing, singing (car, shower, karaoke, walking down the street), my family, my dogs. I’m a theater major with the beginnings of a few master’s degrees, none ever coming to fruition. So now I work full time in a pharmacy. I love to cook and stay in to watch a movie. I really miss going swing dancing, so if anyone wants to go dancing, I’m game. |
