| It wasn’t one big moment, it just kind of clicked over time. I’ve always cared deeply about animals, and once I started thinking more about where food comes from, it just didn’t sit right with me anymore. I became vegetarian first then going vegan felt like a natural step. |

| I’m easygoing and pretty grounded, I like to think, although my brain never stops. I enjoy being out in nature, biking, and I’m an on-and-off runner. I’m definitely a creature of routine. Music is my daily escape. I love live shows, just wish there were more matinees these days. I’m pretty nostalgic and love all things vintage (big fan of thrifting). I appreciate the small things, taking walks, listening to the birds, picking up cool rocks, and just being present. At 51, I feel more like my authentic self than I have in a long time. I’ve learned I’m neurodivergent in some ways, which has helped me better understand how I think and move through life. I have college-age kids and I’m currently finishing up my bachelor’s in Computer Science. Working from home and being more introverted makes it a little harder to meet people, so here I am. |
