| Why I'm Vegan |
| Since I was born I have had a strong and sensitive connection with animals. My sister and I started our vegetarian journey when we were 12, our mom and dad joined us and the whole family became vegan in the early 2000s for reasons of compassion, the environment, personal health, and moral consistency. |
| More About Me |
| I am an author anthropologist who started my career working with gorillas and exploring gorilla culture. I eventually moved into other animal cultures academically. On a personal level I started my own Animal sanctuary for high needs animals and that lasted for 7 years. I am neurodivergent (I prefer the term neuroholographic) and now use what I've learned from animal culture to run a global program dedicated to exploring neurodiverse culture (2,400 members in 18 countries). As part of that program I run a group exploring theoretical/holographic physics and I am eternally on fire when it comes to holographic / multiverse theories, the nature of time and space and constructing theoretical physical frameworks for the "paranormal." I am privileged to have traveled the world, all continents with the exception of Antarctica, and while my education has been connected to academia the best learning is broad experience, iconoclastic thinking, and an autodidactic approach to all things. I am a lifelong martial artist and have my own dojo, though I don't teach anymore after taking care of my aging parents until recently. I am a minimalist, generally speaking, and live simply by choice. Beyond the basics of living and occasional travel money isn't something that's important to me. I truly enjoy the simple things in life. |

| While I realize these appellations are socially arbitrary to a great extent, I am generally attracted to more "feminine" women -- a certain quality of ferocity and gentleness. I am sapiosexual, and a nimble and expansive mind is fy-ah. I would love to find someone for whom ideas and their endless intersectionalities lead to explorations that take us to the verges of the knowable universe. I am not a terribly social person (though I have many close friends that I have kept for decades). I need a lot of quiet time. I deeply appreciate good emotional communication. I don't resonate conflict for the purpose of hierarchical positioning or boundary pushing. I'm a chill person on that level and I respect other people's sovereignty, so I look for the same in the people in my life. It would be wonderful to find someone to join me on my expeditions as I write about monsters as messages and explore the liminal as it connects to the land. It would be wonderful to find someone who would enjoy reading my writing (for each other's writing) and helping me see new perspectives over genmaicha, to delve into film symbolism over a bowl of popcorn, or create art side by side. While I am sapiosexual, touch is my love language in a relationship, along with mutual support, so someone oriented in the same way would be great. My sense of humor definitely leans toward the quirky and cosmically dark. I love Monty python, blackadder, British humor in general, to give an idea of the kinds of areas I would love to share laughter in. |
