| I'm a software professional working in the Bay area. I like folk and "classic rock" music, attending concerts, reading, hiking, movies (Hollywood-style, foreign, and independent), cooking, visiting new places, and meeting people. I believe that any relationship has to be two-sided - I'm more than willing and eager to work on the relationship as long as the other person is willing to make a similar effort. I expect this even of my male friends. I haven't forgotten that making a living should not keep me from making a life. I tend to be shy initially (actually reserved) but I nurture friendships well. (Eeeks! I read this myself and it sounds so serious! &:-)) I would consider myself to be average-looking. My maternal grandmother, when she was alive, thought that I should've been a movie star, ;-) My plastic surgeon welcomes me with open arms, as a major contributor towards his son's college fund. My hair-dresser humours me when I show up at her salon for a haircut (No, I'm not bald, :-)). |

| Someone who's independent, open-minded, and considerate. Of course, if you've other "qualities" in addition to these, that's fine too ... :-). I am primarily looking for someone in physical proximity to where I live (Bay Area, No. California).
