| I love being vegan! I am so much healthier than I was before, physically and spiritually. It's a big relief not having to feel guilty that someone had to be tortured in order for me to eat. I've been vegan since 2001. I cannot believe the advancements in vegan cheese technology (although I do try to stick to a whole foods diet). |

| I studied Chemical Engineering, but am not currently working due to a work accident that I am recovering from. I love my dog more than anything in the world. All animals pull at my heartstrings. I have dreams of opening a sustainable and self-sufficient animal sanctuary at some point in the future. I believe it is important we speak up for those who cannot speak up for themselves. Most people choose to turn a blind eye to the cruelty that goes into their food and material goods. I am not one of those people, nor do I easily accept how/that they exist (but I do). I love being active. I love to hike and practice yoga. I strive to practice ahimsa in all aspects of my life. |
