| Why I'm Vegetarian |
| I've been a vegetarian for 29 years because my own survival doesn't depend on killing animals. I've tried vegan, but that only lasted 6 months - I like a bit of cheese and honey. Someday, I'll probably go back to all raw foods (that lasted 2 years - with some raw goat cheese), but it was difficult socially. Becoming a vegetarian was more of a calling than a choice, but I'm not a proselytizer. Others may choose what they are comfortable with; although, the smell of bbq or any animal flesh on a grill does make me gag. |

| My daughters and I will be moving in August, probably to Ann Arbor. Family, a good Waldorf high school, and all that fresh water are calling us there. Skiing is my favorite sport and I love hiking and being in nature. I like to tinker with ideas, written and physical. My dream is to have a good size lab/workshop to develop some alternative energy concepts I have. |

| More veggie friends that are not too dogmatic about how to live or be. Spirituality is great, but I do enjoy folks who are grounded in life here on Earth. For friends, I really appreciate sincerity, artistry and courage. Many of my dearest friends are somewhat unassuming, very caring and attentive to their relationships (thank goodness, because they center me as I am being pulled into the future). My dream is to have a love relationship that is truly anchored in spirit and then fully realized in the physical. |
