| I'm a single Mum with an empty nest - just one of my four(all Veggies) still at home. Now it's time for ME!! I enjoy my home (rural), and garden which is overun with poultry, rabbits etc and is also home to a donkey. My interests are animals, agriculture, antiques and astronomy - I had the trip of a lifetime in March 2006 to Turkey with a veggie group, to see the Solar Eclipse. Magic! I became a vegetarian at the age of 7 - I witnessed pigs being slaughtered and was also influenced by Quaker friends. I can't do the vegan thing - totally addicted to Cadburys.... I belong to a local organic group and try to grow some of our food. Very concerned about the planet and the way we mistreat it. Want a wind turbine and wish I could manage without a car. Think Britain is beautiful and would like to explore more. Interested in Scandinavia esp Sweden, and Iceland is on my wish list. Hate smoking and waste. I like music (varied), dance performances, reading and walking our Staffies. I ticked Iceland - wonderful and I'd love to go again! Nest now empty. And our precious Donkey was stolen. Brought the Family up as vegetarians and they've converted to veganism! I have Grandchildren [all V people] and am now a Great Granny.! The car has gone - couldn't cope with the potholes. |
