Why I'm Vegetarian
There are many reasons to become a vegetarian. I guess one of my primary explanations involves land resources. I use the 4-2-1 example: If a piece of land that grows enough food (nutrients, protein, energy) to feed 100 people is directly used to produce fish or chickens; then only 50 people are fed. If fed to cattle or hogs ... 25. There is enough arable land in the world to feed everybody but we don't, somethings not right about this. (of course, this doesn't take into account political strife, greed, etc.; also free range animals that draw nutrients from land that would otherwise go unused).
More About Me
I'm an easy going, laid back person. Enjoy the outdoors, reading, exercise, fresh air. Really enjoy stimulating conversations ...
I'm Looking For
I'm afraid I'm only desiring to meet new and interesting people here and not much more. I really enjoy learning, listening, hearing about others ... broadening my base of knowledge, widening my horizons (you get the picture) to new thoughts and ideas.
