| My diet is vegan, mostly raw foods. I've been an ethical vegetarian since the 1980s, vegan for most of that time. The vegan diet and lifestyle is integral to my life choices and spiritual practice. I recently incorporated more raw foods because I find it gives me more energy, greater mental clarity...lots of health benefits. |

| Connection to animals and the natural world is central to my life. My dog and horses are family, and we see the wildlife who allow us to share their home as extended family. Much of my work is devoted to animal advocacy. I'm a writer and editor, co-founder of an animal advocacy organization, and an educator about holistic health care for animals, animal consciousness, and animal rights. I live close to the land, off the electrical grid, in a very rural setting. |
