| Why I'm Vegan |
| I went from strictly meat and potatoes to total vegan in 1972, changed to lacto-veg in 1975, and in 1996 changed back to total vegan, where I will be for the remainder of my days. I originally became vegan after finding a Buddhist Bible in a little book store on Okinawa. The book was one of the few in the store printed in English. After some reading and contemplation, I realized that I could no longer eat animals. So I went from Hunter, to grazer/forager. |

| I'm 6'1" 170 lb athletic build, used to have red hair, now its greying quite nicely. I prefer being outdoors most of the time, although, I'm somewhat Tropically oriented. Summer is my favorite time of year. That's not to say I don't go out in the dead of winter, just that I prefer cut-offs and flip-flops to thermals, boots, and a parka. I don't drink or smoke. I like hiking ,Biking, canoeing, and playing golf. I prefer light jazz, but I like most types of music, except some of the new, angry, threatening stuff. |
