| I saw a video at during media studies at university that really opened my eyes called 'Mclibel' about a couple that sued McDonalds. It really opened my eyes about the cynical nature of factory farming and fast food diets and pretty soon I cut all meat and fish out of my diet. I care about animal rights I made the transition from vegetarian to vegan in 2011. I had been wanting to make it for some time, but found it difficult for some reason to get that little bit of dairy and eggs out of my diet. I educated myself on the cruelty that goes on in the dairy and egg industries which I was not fully aware of as an ovo-lacto vegetarian. I also care about environmental concerns, my health and see veganism as a solution to world hunger. |
