| Why I'm Vegan |
| I am a vegan for my health and have eaten a vegan diet since 1989, when I read Fit for Life, by Harvey and Marilyn Diamond. My diet is low-fat and is about 60% raw and 40% cooked. I also like the fact that a vegan diet requires much less land and other resources to provide the food that a person needs than does a diet full of animal products. |

| I like to run and walk outside in the fresh air and (on weekends) sunshine. I also like to do yoga, lift very heavy weights at the gym every 3 weeks, read, and laugh frequently. I love certain kinds of music -- rock, soul, funk, metal, and disco -- and I go to rock concerts occasionally. I work as a CPA in a public-accounting firm. |
