| I'm an unmaterialistic man with a green outlook, spiritual, and in awe of nature. I enjoy walking on the seashore, through woodland and by streams, listening to birdsong, watching sunsets. Though I'm not committed to any path, I do have pagan and Buddhist leanings. I live on the edge of a a small town, and visit the countryside frequently, doing practical conservation, cycling, walking or watching wildlife. I try to re-use and recycle as much as I can, grow bee-friendly plants and would like to develop my home on permaculture lines, and ultimately live in an eco-house. Likes: live music, barn dances, cinema, theatre, art galleries, museums, old churches and stone circles, rugby, Radio 4, BBC 7, Classic FM, massage, pub quizzes, Dr Who (though seldom watch TV), Belgian beer in moderation, honesty, openness.Dislikes: materialism, tobacco smoke, inconsiderate people. Friends have described me as caring, honest, committed (some have also said I ought to be!) gregarious, and philosophical. I'd also add sensual and tactile. Now for the honesty...I tend to be pedantic, talk too much, hate ironing, and my idea of shopping is writing a list of needs, and getting in and out as quickly as possible. Bookshops, though, are a different matter. I'm a reasonable cook when I put my mind to it, but on my own exist on basic fare. |
