| From an early age I loved animals & apparently announced to my family when I was 5, I was no longer going to eat meat. I made the connection that animals died so humans could eat them & found this disheartening. Vegetarian, turning more vegan, exploring some raw foods. |

| Warm, energetic, caring, compassionate, optimistic, confident, yet simple with sophisticated tastebuds. I appreciate being in nature. I grew up camping every summer. I have an adventurous side of me and friends have told me I have been to exotic destinations. Yearning to explore more of the world. I have an ever curious mind & adapt well to my surroundings > flexible. Do you like to travel? Whether is it near or far, travel stimulates my mind, awakens my senses & tests my wits. I enjoy getting acquainted with other cultures, connecting to people, music, cuisine, sights & sounds. I suppose this explains my fondness for foreign movies (although I am open to seeing other movies too) & ethnic restaurants. Besides traveling, I spend time walking, hiking, bicycling & swimming. Actually anything related to water, including skiing (favorite sport). Outdoors or indoors, I will read just about anything, newspapers, magazines, books, even cookbooks, less so novels. I prefer reading over watching TV. I like going to Farmer's markets, getting inspired & cooking up vegan dishes. Fond of baking too. Years of piano lessons, played flute in elementary, high school & college band. Music is essential to my soul. Volunteered as a mentor for a fourteen year old boy. |
