| Being vegan has lots of advantages including the removal of cattle fences. This country " The land of freedom" has more miles of fence than any other country. According to the Corn growers association 70% of the corn grown in this country is fed to animals. Most of the fish populations in the oceans have been greatly reduced by 90% I usually cook my own meals and I have an organic garden Organic is becoming easy to buy locally so thats usually what I buy. This area has poultry and dairy production and it is a disgusting industry. I grow Shiitake Mushrooms and sell them at the local farmers market. |

| Been vegetarian for 20 years, vegan for about 10 Stay fit and have fun by kayaking the local rivers and hiking in the mountains. I have 4 acres and a modest house,it's paid off but I would like to build a new house here dome day. . Hopefully make it as green as I can. I already have solar panels and a mini wind turbine. Been a mechanic for over 20 yrs. When I'm home I like to do woodworking projects using recycled wood. I don't watch much TV and don't have cable. Don't like sports at all. much rather be watching birds or photographing nature. In the evenings I like to relax by going into photoshop with my pix or reading up on plants and wildlife. Meet me at Wings Over Water at the OBX,I attend some years. I find life exciting and like to share my findings. Consider myself an expert do it yourselfer.
