| Engineer/Project Manager at a large manufacturing plant by day. Musician and song maker by night/weekends. Full time dad to an awesome 17 year old vegetarian girl, who also is now writing songs and performing. She is heading to college next fall so making plans for my next chapter. Music is a large part of my life. I've been writing, recording and performing since 6th grade. I like most genres excepting country. I like to create my own songs in my home studio. I spent the last several years mixing other bands live as a part time job (in addition to my full time day job). Have recently decided to focus on my daughters songs and capturing and recording those, along with supporting her live performance ambitions. Being with someone with similar musical tastes is important. I have strong associations with the sonic landscape that accompanies my life. We don't have to like exactly the same music, but alignment is super nice :) All time favorites include; Toad the Wet Sproket (and most anything Glen Phillips), Stone Temple Pilots, Radiohead, Paul Westerberg/Replacements, Depeche Mode, Notwist, and grew up on a steady diet of Beatles, BeeGees, Elton John, Wings, stuff like that. People generally tend to describe me as a very kind, accepting and optimistic person. I believe that life requires effort and a person should expect to receive only as much as they are willing to give. I like laughing, as often as possible. Politically, I lean left. I don't identify with any organized religion. If you support Trump or anything he is associated with, move on..... We won't work out. I'm disgusted by the current political climate. I'm a huge fan of Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez, she seems to be on the same side of most issues as I am, and she's not afraid to call out both dems and republicans. I am vegetarian and have dabbled with various vegan and raw diets. Some past food allergies to Soy/Peanut have made being vegan tricky, but open to that in the future. I am creative, but also a pretty analytical and rational thinker. I enjoy being passionate about simple things in life. In the past few years I have consciously made an effort to simplify my life and prioritize the things that really matter. |

| I strive everyday to be better. A better person, dad and partner... I've been trying a online vegan meal delivery service (sprinly.com) and it's been cool to be eating vegan much more. :) Honesty, communication, compassion and respect are necessary for a healthy relationship. Lastly - I met an awesome person on this site a few years back and we dated long distance for 4 years (her status was "willing to relocate", which ultimately should couldn't)........eventually the distance crushed us, so - be nearby or really willing to consider relocating. I'll be in Michigan until my daughter heads off to college in 2022. And - I'd like to be with my mate in the meantime :) After that, I will see...... |
