| Love the outdoor life: sailing, diving, bushwalking, climbing mountains [both metaphorical and physical], swimming, runninng, cycling, kayaking and camping. Strong and wry sense of humour interwoven with an outlandish sense of the ridiculous carries me, generally goodhumouredly, through life's idiosyncrasies. The woman with whom I wish to build a long-term relationship need not share my interests but I would hope she is passionate about those things which appeal to her, whether it be hang gliding or macrame. I have spent four of the last eight years years sailing the east coast of Australia from Cairns to Melbourne and back then on to Mooloolaba, whilst intermittently travelling overseas: India[twice], Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Peru and Ecuador. Solo sailing has its joys, but I miss having a partner to share experiences and with whom to create a lasting relationship on dry land. |

| She will have taste for adventure. Experiences outside of the normal spectator sport/television/pub/nightclub lifestyle are what she seeks. A taste for overseas travel[of the less than 5 star variety]. Being of the left-wing persuasion she will have compassion and empathy.
