| More About Me |
| I'm a middle-aged geek starting over. I'm also a Southern Gentleman by DNA and training. I believe that Christianity was intended to be Compassion, that the USA was intended to have a Bill of Rights and use it, and that human beings were intended by the Creator to love and be loved. I've been a half-century-plus vegetarian, non-dairy for 30+ years, have been slow to call myself vegan because I still have some leather stuff but realized it's been years since I bought any, so I went ahead and said it. I like to read and research, cook, take long walks with the right company, talk with my sons, listen to many types of music (into Japanese hard rock and metal at the moment, write a music blog) and studying into energy efficiency and alternative energy sources. I'm wired for ADD, which good health practices can keep from being too problematic, but that means I've had "senior moments" all my life, might forget something important etc. and need some structure in my everyday life. It ALSO means I'm creative, often think of connections most people miss, like to live with gusto (that does not mean beer, which I find gross) and need to "let loose" once in awhile in one way or another. Most of all I'm an emotional creature who needs a consistently positive and encouraging companion. It's all part of what is me. Another part: I feel called to assist others in various forms of natural healing. I am a Master Reiki, Usui discipline. Reiki heals and gives more life vitality, it never diminishes. And it helps children and animals, which can't be faked. All true healing is from Creator Source and the potential is within every one of us. So... I believe in the "agape" message of Yashua of Nazareth and that He is divine, AND that we were intended to have and use more healing and creative powers than most people expect or can comprehend. I seek to explore past the limits my previous experience and thought have placed on me, without becoming diverted to holding other limits anyone else may have and tend to place in my mind. | I'm Looking For |
| The woman I would seek doesn't have to have identical interests and views to mine (some similar ones would be good), but I need her to appreciate me as I am and love me while I grow, and I will seek to do the same for her. (Viva la difference!) She will have similar values and will have her own natural beauty, which usually follows being happy within herself and being fit. Physically, I'm most attracted to slim ladies with long hair, and to those who are both warm and direct, interested and interesting. I try not to be too narrow here; actually my first serious love affair was with a lady with pixie-cut brunette hair and who most would have thought plain... but in her way she was exquisitely attractive to me.
