| Why I'm Vegetarian |
| In college I read a lot about eastern religion/philosophy. When I saw how much different some of their societal norms were, vegetarianism became a lot less foreign to me. Since jr. high I had been writing essays and papers on animal rights and against animal experimentation. Animals have just as much a right to life as we do. Becoming vegetarian just felt natural. Sometimes in conversations with sci-fi fans, I'll throw a hypothetical situation and comparison together for them. If these Aliens are eating people because they consider them food and a lesser species, what makes them different from you eating animals? Usually most people laugh, but somewhere in their minds I hope I can get their gears turning. |

| I'm a caring, compassionate man looking for my soul mate. I believe in commitment and monogamy and am not interested in casual dating. Enlightenment came in college for me when, I start going to different eastern temples and taking philosophy classes. That's when I became a vegetarian. My daughter's an Angel. She's kind, happy, caring, sharing, gets good grades. We watch a lot of cartoons and play a lot of video games together. We also do yoga and martial arts together weekly. I've been helping kids since 2000 when I graduated from college with a B.A. in afterschool programs. I decided to go back to school and attain my Master's in Community Counseling, and am currently finishing up the degree. |
