| Why I'm Vegetarian |
| I became a vegetarian in my late teens after a (then) lifetime of feeling horrible about eating meat. I've always loved animals, and from the time I was able to make the literal connection between a piece of KFC and an actual chicken, I was mortified. I sometimes felt nauseated thinking about eating meat as I hadn't realized there were options until I was a bit older. |

| More About Me |
| I don't think of myself as a "typical" or crunchy vegetarian. I am definitely more of an urban/artist veggie. I love retro-style clothing and mid-century furniture etc... I am also fairly involved in the arts. I also have a bit of a dark sense of humor on occasion. I am a music fiend and as far it goes, I really go for more genuine stuff with minimal commercial corruption. I like anything from classical to Bee-bop, Johnny Cash, Nick Cave and Radiohead and/or Stravinsky, Schoenberg and Birtwistle. As far as art goes I prefer mostly modern and contemporary. At any rate, there is something more pleasingly offbeat to me than my alabaster exterior might suggest. I can admittedly take a little while to get to know well, but once you do, I am as warm as recently baked apple pie, and almost as delicious —though not as crusty. |

| I am always interested in somebody with similar sensibilities: a cute, warm, smart/friendly girl/woman. I tend to like those who have an introspective side, maybe a soft "edge" and an appreciation for art, a love for animals, music conversation etc... Oh, it doesn't hurt if you have a great (perhaps occasionally disturbing) sense of humor and a unique and yet tasteful sense of style. |
