| I think we can all live without violence or cruelty. We don't need to kill to live a healthy life. Our duty should be to protect the innocent, not hurt them. We can all learn to be gentle, both in mind and action. I do my best - but I haven't yet reached angelic realms!!!! |

| Having just read my previous profile I wonder how I ever came to write those words. What mood was I in when I woke that morning? However, this is me today, writing a brief account of myself - not easy!! Tomorrow, who knows - quiet, joyful, pensive, thoughtful, happy, sad, funny, silly, confident- sometimes not so. What do they say about variety? Having reached some degree of maturity(not quite 100)and looked at myself from many angles, and tried to view myself through other peoples eyes, I may now be qualified to give some sort of account of myself. Although life has not always been easy,I am naturally happy and optimistic. Understanding and appreciating rather than criticising. Smiling and laughing - especially at myself - rather than looking at life from a grim perspective. Always the adventurous explorer -yes still,not yet ready to accept limitations - I like discovering and learning about new places, people/cultures, ideas. I enjoy/appreciate the arts. Love nature in all it's diversity - and of course animals. To me, honesty, kindness and true friendship are important, and to be loved for who I am. To be allowed to offer all this - and more - in return. |
