| I choose the vegetarian lifestyle for ethical, health, and cultural benefits! I am a second generation light lacto ( no ovo)vege--it's just a part of me ...the whole family is definitely 'foodie'. I love cooking and take joy ( and a little pride) in preparing and sharing delicious cuisine w/ friends and family. |

| I work in the film industry, at times w/ the camera, or the computer and clipboard. One of my passions is cinema and am happy it gets to be how I make a living too-- -- but I do have an excellant work/life balance. I love the mountains, ocean, nature and trying to capture the illusive lovely light and sense of place in those places (photography) . I like to hike in new and familiar places, bicycle, and skiing in winter is such a treat. I have sole custody of my sweet daughter -age 6 (such a great age!) She is a joy. She is as well traveled as some adults--we drove across the US 2X and she has a passport and in my humble opinion a great kid! I am a down to earth person, who in the space of a day, ( or maybe two days haha this year I have been focusing on doing less and enjoying the passage of time more.) .... could sand and varnish my boat, bicycle for a coffee, get a pedicure, and make dinner for my friends. I have been a semi-pro private chef-- hopefully you will like my cooking as well... I have a deep spiritual core, and respect others beliefs. I am present emotionally, steer clear of drama, ( keeping it at the theatre or cinema...). I am liberal and logical regarding current events-- usually choose the path of least resistance, but occasionally go for the hard road...( just for the challenge...). Where ethics are concerned I strive to do what my conscience indicates. I am from the east coast ( New England) and really love California ( been here 20 yrs). I like to think I have the best of both coast's sensibilities--and have an adventurous, spontaneous side. Keeping the car stocked w/ essentials helps a lot for those last minute jaunts to the beach or wherever curiosity takes me. I appreciate sensuality-- nothing like a sunny day, a natural hot spring , and one's lover! I've sailed down the coast to Mexico, made wine in my kitchen w/ grapes I picked, did yoga in India, photographed the Great Wall. Phew-- did I cover the bucket list yet LOL.... And yet all that seems easy and almost frivolous compared to just sitting still after a day w/ my child, or relaxing just listening to the waves..... |
| I'm Looking For |
| We all wish to fall in love and find that soulmate... However in pragmatic fashion I am hoping to find someone cool, compatible , intelligent, and who's values are present ,to date and have fun and conversation with, at least to start, perhaps true love can manifest if we are so lucky! Chemistry is a must for both parties! The fact we can agree on what to eat would be a marvelous start! |
