| I am vegan because I finally woke all the way up in this regard. Since I was a child I had that tremendous connection with animals. I first became vegetarian at 18, and I became vegan in 2009 when I finally had the courage to let myself see the harrowing capacity of people to exploit. |

| A spiritual man who is vegan and appreciates a woman who follows her heart. I like the simple things in life. To me, it's about being present. Humor, deep listening, accurately chosen words, breezes and open spaces, and firelight are things I would like to share. I have a desire to be as self-sufficient as possible with regard to growing food. I don't mind hard work, and I would like to see humanity shift significantly in the direction of relieving hunger and suffering, and ennobling of the virtues in our human being. End the practice of humans and animals-as-commodities in all forms. A dream, perhaps, but a great dream I need to share with a partner who rolls up his sleeves and does his bit. |
