| I went veggie back in 1973, when it was hardly popular, I was scared by the propaganda that "you MUST eat meat or you will become anemic!" -- but I knew I had to do it, and slowly reduced the carnage for a couple months when lo! I felt so much better and my head cleared up, and my priorities in life became obvious, and then there was no turning back. Since then I added all the usual reasons like the moral issue, the compassion issue, ecology, health, etc. SO MANY reasons it is good to be a vegetarian while there are NO comparative reasons to be a non-vegetarian... |

| I have always lived an "alternative" life-style. I have several of my own businesses which happen to be my personal hobbies, namely book publishing and composing cosmic music. I read five languages from ancient India and thoroughly enjoy diving deeply into the Secrets Of The Ages. As a composer and performer of original music, I have way too much fun recording CDs as well as doing public performances and appearances at music festivals. As a cancer survivor (1994) I realize the value of each priceless day, and I take time to smell the roses and live fully in the moment. I am here to EXPERIENCE life in all its moments of joy and occasional sadness. |
