| First, for ethical reasons. To reduce suffering. Then for health, of myself and the earth. It seems rude to eat everything indifferently, and to think there are no consequences for our actions. Being vegetarian usually means living lighter, and with a better conscience. |

| I'm a writer of verses, some expository prose, and songs. I have two young daughters, and I spend nearly half the week with them. I'm a decent fellow, well read, with a wide knowledge of history, the environment, and politics. I enjoy time spent with my children, and while I don't keep pets, I like animals and nature quite a lot. I'm fairly creative, slightly opinionated in political and cultural matters, but eager to learn some things that I don't know, of which there are many. |

| Someone a bit like me, for example in food choices. Someone who cares about the earth. A relatively sensuous person, comfortable with her feminine nature. Someone capable of togetherness, and believing in the other person's goals. It would help to not have too many pre-conceived notions of what constitutes success.
