| Why I'm Vegetarian |
| I became a vegetarian for environmental reasons 16 years ago- (Once I learned the concept of ecological footprint). I then moved into the ethical/humane/health reasons as well. Although I get frustrated sometimes by the lack of choices at lunches at work, I don't see myself eating land animals anytime soon. (I could possibly see myself eating some seafood at some point (for health reasons), but I never really cared for the taste even when I ate meat). |

| I have a scientific background and work in IT and applications engineering at a biotech company. I love the arts as well and try to keep a balance between the two. (seeing live music, museums, dance performances, doing photography, etc.) I am well travelled (spent several weeks or more in New Zealand, China, Australia, europe 5x, all around the US and Baja, etc.) but haven't been able to indulge that lately as much. I have a 2 1/2 year old beautiful daughter that lives mostly with her mother, but stays with me 1-2 days/week. I stay active by going to the gym several times per week and playing racquetball. I have a very good relationship with my family and friends, and try to do as much stuff with them as I can. I just moved recently, so most of my free time lately has been with packing/moving/sorting/unpacking and fun stuff like that... |

| Currently I am looking to meet some new people. Someone to go to concerts/movies/restaurants/shows/etc with. I am interested in a LTR in the not too distant future, but probably not immediately. We'll have to see how things go- I am trying not to prejudice myself and be open to possibilities. My daughter already has a very loving mother, so I am not looking for a "mom", but it would probably be helpful if you could at least stand being around kids... |
