| More About Me |
| I moved to DC in March, originally from South Florida and more immediately from Norfolk, VA. I am an activist to benefit all species, definitely including human. I volunteered with Food Not Bombs (before moving to DC) to provide food to the homeless and also work for animal protection. I live in Columbia Heights near U St. and Adams Morgan, where all the cool night life is, but haven't really gotten out to experience it. I'm looking for YOU to get me out and start enjoying my new city and just living! :) But I do enjoy exploring my new city, have enjoyed hitting the Eastern Market farmers market on Sundays, have hit some museums some, and trying to take it all in. I also enjoyed grabbing the mic at a neighborhood karaoke bar (WITHOUT boozing it up first, believe it or not!) before moving to DC, but haven't gotten to any karaoke joints yet since I've been in DC.)My personality is a bit mixed, being serious in certain ways but also casual and care-free at others. Women typically look for a guy who is funny and perhaps likes animals, right? You've got me! :) I play some guitar and have played long enough where I should be better at it than I am. But I get by. I'm rather secular in my lifestyle, but I like to hold onto a bit of Jewish tradition (like in occasional holiday observance) just to, you know, keep it going. I like to cook. (That doesn't mean I'm the most talented chef, but I can follow a recipe and have some favorites, and enjoy some moderate experimentation. :) |

| In the short-term, I'm open to women of any background. In the long-term, I'd like to potentially settle down and potentially have a Jewish family. Either way, I'd like a relationship that's fun-yet-serious. Symbiotic. I've always wanted to get married and have a small family. I've just always wanted to find my ideal, complementary mate since I'd never been too comfortable in larger groups. (I'm a lot better about that now, though!) And I've wanted to have a family, kind of like having my own little [Jewish] "tribe" to go home to. |
