| 1. I drink one-cup of milk daily and eat yogurt daily, which is lacto-vegetarian. 2. I list myself on a site for vegetarians because I think that common eating habits are a way to connect in a good way, and my eating habits are mostly vegetarian. 3. I am considering becoming 100% vegetarian when I find some compelling reasons to do so. |

| My favorite vgetarian dishes include black beans with sweet potatoes, lentil soup, rice, wheat berries, carrots. Although I am primarily a vegetarian, my chicken dishes include yogurt chicken and orange juice chicken. My mantra: Keep it simple! What about your own cooking? Do you learn new recipes or just stick with the tried-and-true ones? My passions include Spanish and classical music although I appreciate the craft (and other things) in other genres. As a postscript, I think any thing I say (or anyone else can say, for that matter) can be taken out of context. If anything I say should interest you. feel free to ask me to amplify, With an electronic relationship, I think it's possible to talk about things that would be considered too personal in other venues. At any rate, if there is any topic that is off-topic, please let me know, and I'll avoid it. The topics about you that would interest me include: your background, including family, your favorite outdoor activity, your favorite indoor activity on long, winter nights, your pet peeve(s), a favorite relative. If you talk about "spiritual, not religious," what does it mean to you? Well , spiritual to me . . . I guess that means a whole host of things. If it means sensitive to others or empathic with others, I make that attempt, again and again. And I feel it coming from others, sometimes clear out of the blue, like the woman at the grocery store seeing me with two items and saying, "Sir, you can go ahead of us." To me, "spiritual" would include mindfulness of nature's beauty, awareness of each person's uniqueness, and true respect for that individuality. |
