| I became a vegetarian for moral reasons, disgusted at the abuse and suffering so prevalent in the food industry. When I realized that the dairy and egg industries are equally cruel, I became a vegan. Reading The China Study reinforced my choice as the absolute best choice for good health. |

| I'm at an interesting stage of life...my three children are all officially adults (only my 18 year old lives with me), my graduate work is finished, and I'm ready for some "me" time. I'm fiercely progressive in my politics, and this commitment is present in every aspect of my life. I've always enjoyed cooking, and as I became a vegetarian, then vegan, my cooking skills have adjusted accordingly to meet the challenge....and if I do say so myself, I'm pretty good at creating delicious vegan meals. How wonderful would it be to enjoy the company of a man who actually enjoys my cooking, rather than tolerates it! |

| I'm not on a quest to find my "soul mate" or a man to "complete" me, I don't mind being single.
