| I've been a vegetarian since i found out what meat was....i was six years old. It's mainly the "yuck" factor for me, and I respect meat eaters and vegetarians for all of the many reasons that people choose to eat or not eat as they do. |

| I'm from NYC originally, came to DC for college and have been here ever since. I work for a former senior Clinton administration official on an exciting public policy project, and I run a non profit on the side that provides educational opportunities for marginalized Sudanese. I am very passionate about my work. When im not working, I like spending time with good people trying new and interesting things. I like good veg food, and i walk and bike a lot. I split my time between goofy and serious. I believe in calling things as i see them. I love learning new words, facts and perspectives, hate confrontation and drama, love laughing at absurd things, hate missing the punch line of a joke, love sensuality, hate republicans, love xkcd, hate loud noises, love technology, hate using social media, love alberto's pizza, hate when people make things seem only black or white (so you can take this love/hate list with a grain of salt). Im generally easy going, and once in a while i find myself without much to say, and that's okay. I'm an INTJ for those of you who know meyer's briggs types (extreme N, the others fairly moderate). I'm blessed with genuine confidence, although I can be pretty shy and a bit awkward when i meet a lady i like. If i act like that around you, be flattered, cuz it means im into you...you should call me out on it. |

| Someone intelligent and confident, someone i can learn from and is interested in learning from me. Someone who is direct, who engages in real (as opposed to superficial) conversation, and keeps me on my toes. Someone comfortable with embracing co-dependence while maintaining independence.
