| A combination of reasons: health (chemicals and other impurities in meat), ethical (animal mistreatment at farms & slaughterhouses), spiritual, and political (opposing how culture and corporations are set to influence or control our choices to make us eat more meat. I try to stay with organic as much as possible. I have been active in the non-GMO cause and for GMO labeling. I attended EarthSave meetings when there was an organization long ago in Seattle; have volunteered at Vegfest. |
