| Why I'm Vegan |
| I chose to be a vegan because I believe it is the healthiest way to for me and all the beings on the planet. Being a vegan causes the least harm to the environment and is the most loving and least violent way to live. I also enjoy vegan food more than any other kind of food. It's the best! I grew up in a very meat oriented family and environment. At the age of 14 I decided to become a vegetarian and first stopped eating red meat, and soon after that gave up poultry and later fish. A few years after that I quit cheese, milk, and eggs and have been a vegan ever since. I don't judge others who are not vegan. I am looking to meet both vegetarians and vegans. |

| More About Me |
| I previously lived in Japan for most of the last 25 years. I love the outdoors, animals, cooking and eating organic vegan food. Health, and fitness are my main interests and I also do my best to make this planet a better place to live. I enjoy yoga, cycling, swimming, camping, gardening and travelling. I also enjoy films and reading and relaxing in a hammock and taking it easy. For most of the last 20 years I was living in and taking care of a small Buddhist temple in the mountains of Nara Japan. I had a wood fired bath and a composting toilet and had a very green oriented lifestyle. I lived alone in the temple. (No Monks, just me and my cat Sage) I had a small organic health food shop, seasonal cafe and I also taught cooking classes, yoga, Organic farming, English and hosted other health workshops on occasion. I had a great life in Japan. I moved on from that 5 years ago though and have spent the past few years in Hawaii, Europe, New Zealand, Africa and a few other places as well as spending some time with and helping my parents in Kentucky. I've been looking for my next home.. One reason I left my life in Japan is to find a partner and a more conscious community of people living nearby who share my interests and ethics. I would like to live in a place where I would have an opportunity to learn and share with other likeminded people nearby. I'm currently considering Oregon or somewhere in the intermountain Western U.S. and I am I will be living in Oregon from August 2021 for some time to see if I might make a home around there. |

| I'm Looking For |
| I'm looking for a vegan or vegetarian partner, and friends. I'm open to meeting all kinds of people. I lived a somewhat solitary life in a beautiful part of Japan for many years. There were few other people nearby who were interested in health, the environment or any of the other things my life is centered around. I'm looking for a partner and on that journey I would also like to meet people I can visit, spend time with, share with and then make one of those places my next home. I'm looking for people who enjoy life and want to share and have a good sense of humor. Please contact me if you think we might share either friendship or more.. Distance is no problem for me. Easier to meet if we are nearby of course. If you live in a beautiful part of the world, and think you and I have common interests, I am quite happy to grab my backpack, jump on a plane and meet you at some point..
