| Why I'm Vegan |
| Learning about the way most of our food is produced globally, I no longer can (in good conscience) take anything from an animal who had no choice in the decision to offer itself. Once my decision was made, I discovered the enormous health and environmental benefits of a plant-based diet and can contribute a bit to healing the world. A new life opened up before my eyes in a way I never anticipated and made me thankful that the knowledge came to me unexpectedly through two co-workers who were following a Vegan diet. Their experiences made me curious to try it. Shortly thereafter, I viewed several profoundly disturbing documentaries (Food, Inc. and Earthlings). After watching Earthlings, there was no other choice possible for me and the very next day my journey into a deep passion for this lifestyle began. |

| I'm a Reiki Master. I am also a musician/actress/composer working in musical theater as an executive assistant to the CEO. My desire to act has subsided (although one never knows...) and as a songwriter, I have written many over the years but am also taking a pause as I concentrate mostly on Veganism nowadays. My nature is a complex mix of funny, sensitive, smart, serious, silly, passionate, emotional, serene, loyal, opinionated and honest. I care about the way we treat each other in life and strive to be my better self, despite the continual push/pull of everyday stresses and challenges. I want to move through life knowing that when it comes time to leave, the certainty that I made some positive impact along the way - whether by showing kindness, love and support to one or many - will be my legacy. |

| I'd like to meet a man who will become my kindred spirit, eventual best friend and loving partner. I'd like to be with a man who is comfortable in his skin and at ease with his choices, but remains open to exploring the world by my side.
