| I am dorky, quirky, and awkward plus unique, creative, and somehow self-confident about most things; similarly, I am kindhearted and mother-hennish yet a bit sarcastic and even a wee bit snarky. I am young for my chronological age in terms of looks, experience, maturity, and behavior, yet I'm always considered the responsible one. I love: reading, yoga, goth, dancing to post-punk/new wave, reading, painting, writing, traveling, learning, fire spinning, trapeze classes, textures, gymnastics, running, reading, lectures, experimental music and theater (weird little tragic plays), strange movies, surreal art, dark galleries, old bookstores, existential philosophy, new bookstores, any bookstores, Renaissance Faires...drums...some sci fi, and weird, absurd, and/or eccentric stuff...I'm very quick-minded and intelligent but have no memory aside from my near-photographic ability to remember personal events dating back to age 2. I don't like: getting older in any conventional or traditional fashion, (yuck!), settling down, crowds, sports/jocks, business, math, smoking, drugs, alcoholism, casual relationships, morning, the sun, gregarious types, one-night stands, conventions, conformists, and social conservatives. I'm not big into politics although I do email and join campaigns...just not a protester...I do have opinions and am open to discussing things on the philosophical level more than the day-to-day details. |

| I'm Looking For |
| a committed, completely monogamous relationship with the right person but not "marriage" because my relationships are none of the government's business, and as an atheist, I'm of course not into religious ceremonies. I'm looking to meet a someone who's intelligent, creative, in love with words, and pretty unique...someone who's at minimum a vegetarian but preferably vegan or raw...I'm looking to meet a quirky, dorky, nerdy guy who is a reader; this is of the utmost importance as is education and the ability to spell and write decently; I know it really shouldn't, but bad spelling just irks me because I'm fascinated by language and words and grammar and literacy and linguistics...I'm looking for someone with similar tastes in music and art - the dark, the weird, the dissonant, the unconventional, the experimental, the underground...Bauhaus...Joy Division...Nurse with Wound...Dali...Faith and the Muse (one band, not two separate bands)...I'd like to meet a night owl...I do not get along with morning people, hehe. You're nice to most people but probably not a "people person," and you're not the type to flirt or be considered the "life of the party." You're also not the "cool" sort. You like to travel, learn, leave your house, exercise, read, create, and read. |
