| I decided at age 10 that I didn't want to contribute to any animal's suffering. At 14, I was finally old enough to assert myself! I have never looked back, have never eaten meat since. I do find it tough to give up cheese, though...I'm a vegan wanna-be. |

| I love animals and have spent most of my life working with and for them. When I've traveled, it's usually been to see wildlife, especially in the ocean - I love to snorkel! I volunteered a few years ago for a sea-turtle restoration project in Costa Rica. It was beautiful, magical, amazing. I want more adventures like that in my life. I'm serious and silly, witty and goofy, kind, opinionated, curious and always learning. I'm not perfect, and I don't always meet my own highest standards - but hopefully, effort and self-examination count for something! |
