| Why I'm Raw Vegetarian |
| Compassion, health, sustainability. I've been vegetarian since my 25th birthday, as a personal stand against slaughterhouses and factory/battery farms. I became vegan on December 2010, and from December 2011 I'm trying a low-fat raw-vegan (LFRV) lifestyle, inspired by the amazing Freelee and Durianrider and their 30-bananas-a-day community. Unlike many vegetarians and vegans I've met, my commitment is not about releasing animals from pain, but to promote a Humanity that would abhor causing pain to sentient beings. So I have a personal stance for avoiding causing or supporting cruelty as much as I can, and a social stance for raising awareness about ways in which we're cruel and cause pain to animals and to each other, appealing to people's wants to transcend those behaviours. |

| I'm currently on a life path of kindness, and awareness expansion about people, societies, and being human, and would like to meet people on similar paths, and hopefully click with someone for a long-term relationship. Although I have a tendency for being analytical and a critical thinker, I'm looking forward to meeting people with different mind-sets, provided they're also open and non-judgemental. I'm committed to reducing cruelty as much as possible, and to improving in areas of environmental and social problems so as to make the world an even better place. I'm optimistic and engaged, interested in learning new things and exploring new experiences and possibilities, and love exchanging in conversation with someone who has an alternate way of seing reality to mine. I also have many defects of character, and I'm working to overcome them. I have a tendency and a preference for not judging people by their personalities, but to know them for their commitments and their values. I rather focus on the positive, and believe that in every choice, everybody has either good intentions or is struggling with issues. I love being of help or of service, although I've learned recently that one can only make an impact to those who request one's help, or those who accept one's offer to be of assistance, so I'm learning to be more selective in this sense. I love Nature, discovering things and places, trying new experiences and adventures, challenging customs, bringing joy to others, learning new abilities, being spontaneous, and being trusted and trusting. I'm very romantic about life in general. I know myself to be a loving companion and a trusty team member, happy to be supportive and encouraging of the projects they're committed to, and with the issues they're dealing with. |

| A partner on a similar life path to mine, committed to self improvement and to world betterment. A partner who's moved by cruelty and unfairness, and is determined to reduce her negative impact as much as possible. A partner who doesn't buy into the official story, who is a critical thinker, who's both intuitive and intelligent. A partner who believes there is no right and no truth, but rather a subjective understanding and preference for how one wants the world to be, and that this is different for everybody. A partner to celebrate each other's victories, and to support each other in our mutual challenges. A partner humble enough to ask for help, generous enough to enjoy helping others, and mature enough to be of help only when requested or consented. A partner with whom we honestly share some of our life's goals, so that we can pursue them together, and who has other goals, so that we can maintain and expand our separate individualities. A partner who accepts she's a mess and I'm a mess, and that we can work on it and support each other, but may never fix or resolve some of it. A partner capable of loving unconditionally, and being loved the same way; someone who's overcome jealousy and possessiveness. I haven't listed anything other than what I'm willing to be for my partner.
