| A little about me. Music is an essential part of my life. I play the drums as well as teach children how to play. It is rare that a day goes by without listening to something. My tastes are diverse. Rock, pop, jazz, classical, world, etc. Lately I've been listening to The Goat Rodeo Sessions, Eric Friedlander, Ryan Adams, Punch brothers, Michel Portal, and Elysian Fields. I enjoy going for hikes in the various parks and beaches on Long Island. Other interests are cooking vegetarian cuisine as well as preparing live (raw) foods. Yoga. Meditation. Biking. I like to read. Subjects such as health, history, cultures outside of our own, nature/ecology, spirituality. Values such as kindness, honesty, respect are essential. It is much easier to sleep well when the right choice is made. Many years ago I realized my need to experience beauty as much as possible. What is beauty to me? A tree. A bird singing in the woods as I walk. Music. A child smiling. Sincerity. I do my best to be true to myself. Time is too precious to ignore one's heart. As we all I have my strengths and weaknesses and I always do my best. The greatest gift, to share. |
