| Why I'm Vegan |
| I became vegetarian at age nine because my tastes changed, vegan at age thirteen for health and environmental concerns, then everything about my lifestyle just sort of spiraled out of control into a vortex thereafter. I adopted a gluten-free diet at age 32 out of necessity, so I am vegan and gluten-free as well. |

| My friends would describe me as a Renaissance Man, patient, and calm. I'm curious about things and don't bore easily. I follow a vegan and gluten-free diet, the latter out of necessity. I'm a professional dance instructor and competitor: Ballroom, Latin, Smooth, Rhythm, and Nightclub Dances. I enjoy playing tennis, chess, drawing, writing, math, cooking, baking, orange juice, and am a self-published author of two books. My second book is a science fiction epic poem. My first book is of a completely different nature, and in it I describe how to build calculus functions to model emotions, emotion regulation, empathy, and other concepts from the psychology of emotion. I have followed a vegan diet for 25 years (vegetarian for 29 years) and gluten-free for 6 years. I have a passion for everything that I do, and a mastery complex in the sense that I enjoy the process of improving skills. I value authenticity. A vegan/gluten-free cookie will always cheer me up if I'm feeling down (rare). I don't smoke, drink alcohol, or consume marijuana products. Myrmecology is my favorite branch of entomology. I am open to making more vegan friends. |
