| I've been Vegan since 2004, mainly for environmental reasons, though health & animal rights are also important. The whole meat industry with their factory farming & hormone use is quite sad. Oh yeah, & I don't like the taste of meat either:)! |

| I'm passionate, sensitive & witty, with a big heart. A playful & spontaneous sense of humor is definitely one of my traits. I also enjoy the beauty of peace & quiet, especially when I'm kayaking the coastal dunes lakes in the beautiful area where I live, star watching on the beach, or sitting on my porch & watching a rainstorm. I look younger than my age, which I'm thankful for, though my nutty sense of humor may have a little to do with that too:) I'm very loyal, though I respect/enjoy personal space; it's all about balance isn't it? I enjoy healthy, stimulating, deep & honest conversation. Anger, drama & disrespect are traits I avoid. I have a close relationship with my family. I like the feeling I get when I smile at some one, whether I know them or not; simple gestures of kindness are cool. I'm a Videographer & professional musician (all styles, including jazz, blues & funk). I'm not in to the bar scene unless I'm playing or seeing a good band with friends. I used to run restaurants for a living, so I love cooking Vegan and sharing this passion with others; a significant other would be fantastic:)! Yes, I can do dishes too:) I care deeply about having a small impact on the earth, though I'm not obsessed with it. I drive a fuel efficient car that runs on Biodiesel. I'm a huge animal lover. I had a Dachshund for 16 years named Frank; he passed in the Spring of 2010. He meant the world to me. I'm just not ready yet to get another pet........my heart will tell me when. I listen to NPR & watch PBS occasionally; my TV is off most of the time. I'm originally from the Washington D.C. area, so I read The Washington Post online.
