| Why I'm Vegan |
| I choose not to consume another animal to live, as I may live healthily without doing this. Therefore it follows that to eat another animal is exploitative and unethical; if an animal is considered to be a commodity to be consumed then it will probably not be treated with respect, but rather with cruelty. There are also compelling environmental and health reasons to follow a vegetarian lifestyle; I leave a smaller and healthier footprint within the ecosystem that supports my life. |

| More About Me |
| I have been vegetarian for at least thirty years; I have eventually joined the Vegetarian Society - (whoever said I was spontaneous?). I work away from home for up to three weeks at a time (usually two weeks), and then I am 'at liberty' for three weeks. For some of the time I share my home with my nineteen year old student daughter; my twenty four year old son studied, and has settled, in the Netherlands. |

| Someone to share my life with - this being a cliché does not make it untrue. I yearn to travel and to see more of the world. I have put my wanderlust and dating on hold to be completely present to bring up my amazing daughter as she finds her way through this early part of her life, but this has now changed as my daughter spreads her wings more widely now that she leave to go to university.. |
