| About me: I live in the lush, rural countryside of East Maui surrounded by many palms, tropical plants and a year round stream. I'd like to be sharing it with that special someone. I have 1 spayed cat, 1 chinchilla, 2 female donkeys, a collection (10) of forest pigs (now mostly tame and getting fixed) and an outdoor fishpond. So I enjoy having animals around and spend time caring for them each day. I enjoy fine homebuilding. I grew up in NM and will always love adobe homes, courtyards, Mexican tiles and fountains. I like to build small things and appreciate well-done carpentry, masonry, rock work, and ceramic tile. I do some ceramics myself and glass fusing (3 photos of my tiles). I enjoy sewing, baking, cleaning and organizing. I have solar panels for DC lights, propane appliances, limited cell phone reception and no TV. I go online with my iPhone. The water, electricity, and plumbing systems are all private, so the place is self sufficient, except for the propane. I stay away from smoking (all kinds). I speak some Spanish. I go to the Vegetarian Society meetings monthly. About you: I am looking for a tall man. Hopefully, he will be a long time handyman. He needs to be retired, semi-retired, or financially able to not have to drive off to work each day (as it would be a long, commute). I have in mind someone who is thoughtful about what he eats and doesn't want to harm/eat animals. A caring, affectionate man with a sense of humor would be a gift. Interests: Working in my yard, planting palm trees, brisk walks, reading, DVDs, and backgammon. I would like to grow a vegetable garden together. |
